When using this pathway, you will apply to the province or territory for nomination without using the Express Entry system. If you meet the eligibility requirements of the province, you will receive a nomination and will be able to apply for permanent residence online. The processing times are usually longer than through Express Entry.

If you receive a nomination from a province or territory, you will be invited to apply through Express Entry, and you will be able to submit an electronic application to IRCC.
